Vice-President
Quebec Medical Student Federation
I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Montreal, actively engaged in numerous research projects and have presented at multiple conferences. Being deeply involved in student associations and passionate about advocacy, I became a member of the executive committee of the University of Montreal Association of Medical Students before becoming the delegate for academic affairs of the Quebec Medical Student Federation. I now hold the position of Vice-President at the Quebec Medical Student Federation. This role has not only sharpened my leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills but has also strengthened my commitment to community involvement. With a strong interest in academia, I co-founded and preside over the Peer-to-Peer Teaching Committee in medicine at the University of Montreal. I have developed and taught various courses, including a Surgical Simulation Boot Camp.
Currently serving as the president of the Association of Women Surgeons Chapter at the University of Montreal, I am dedicated to fostering a sense of sisterhood. I created an annual conference, monthly Journal Clubs, and various mentorship and social activities. My ten years of leadership experience and consistent community involvement at the national level have been recognized with numerous honors and scholarships, including the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for University Youth in 2023.
