Why Submit?

ICAM provides a global platform to share your medical education-related research, innovations, and ideas with more than 1,900 delegates from over 37 countries. Whether presenting new scholarship, educational innovations, or emerging medical education related research, ICAM offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse community of educators, researchers, clinicians, and learners, exchange knowledge, contribute to important conversations, and help shape the future of healthcare and health professions education.

By submitting an abstract, you can:

  • Showcase your leadership by presenting your work to an international audience.
  • Build meaningful connections with peers, collaborators, and leaders in medical education and health research.
  • Expand your impact by increasing your professional visibility and highlighting your institution’s contributions.
  • Strengthen your work through feedback and discussion with an engaged expert audience.

HEALTH RESEARCH ABSTRACTS

Why Submit?

Participating in the health research poster competition offers you a valuable opportunity to showcase your research on a global stage, connect with peers, and network with researchers from across the world. It is also an opportunity to compete for numerous prestigious research awards including the Gairdner Awards, which grant access to Gairdner Science Week in Toronto, and one learner will also be nominated to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting in Germany.

Who Can Submit?

The Health Research abstract stream is open exclusively to learners.

Canadian Learners

Learners enrolled at Canadian universities must be nominated by their faculty in order to present a poster at ICAM. Each institution manages its own internal selection process. Please contact your university’s Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office for details. Faculty review and approval are required before abstracts can be submitted to the ICAM portal.
