About Dr. Giulia Bonaminio

Her career in medical education has focused on curriculum design and innovation, educational leadership, accreditation, and medical education research and scholarship. She is the recipient of the Association of American Medical College’s CGEA Laureate Award and the International Association of Medical Science Educators’ (IAMSE) Master Scholar Award. She has served as President of both IAMSE and the Society of Directors of Research in Medical Education (SDRME).

Dr. Bonaminio received her MS and PhD in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University, completed a post-doctoral fellowship in medical genetics at Stanford University, and is a graduate of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) fellowship.
