Cecilia Amoakohene is a patient partner at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Ontario. She began engaging in patient partner work at UHN in 2018 and officially joined their Patient Partner program in 2020. She has participated in a variety of patient partner activities including, committees and projects, as well as speaking at several UHN events and the American College of Rheumatology’s 2018 conference. Cecilia aims to bring a diversity of thought and new perspectives to all of her patient partner work. Outside of being a patient partner, Cecilia works in the mental health and addictions field and is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Health Policy & Equity at York University in Toronto, Ontario.
