Carbon Offset Fee
ICAM 2026 registration fees include a $15 Carbon Offset Fee to address the congress’s carbon footprint. This fee will be automatically applied during the registration process and is not included in the rates listed above.
Discounted Rates for Middle- and Low-Income Countries
To make participation accessible to colleagues worldwide, 20% off the High-Income rate is offered for those from Middle-Income countries and 80% off for colleagues from Low-Income countries.

Registration Category Descriptions
Full Congress Registrant
This category applies to practicing health professionals, faculty members, researchers, and other professionals attending in a work-related capacity. It is intended for individuals who do not meet the eligibility criteria for discounted categories.
Please Note: All registration categories grant full access to keynote presentations, abstract sessions, networking events, and exhibits throughout the conference.
Researchers (non-clinicians)
This category applies to individuals engaged in health research who do not hold a clinical license or designation. It includes researchers working in academic, public, or private sectors whose primary responsibilities are research-focused and do not involve direct patient care.
Please Note: Learner researchers are eligible for the Learner rate.
Administrative Staff
This category applies to non-faculty staff working in administrative offices within health, academic, or research institutions. It applies to individuals in non-clinical, non-research roles—such as program coordinators, administrative assistants, operations staff, and others who support the overall functioning of their organization.
Please Note: This category does not apply to individuals who hold a qualification as a physician or other health professional.
Learner
This category applies to full-time students, such as medical / graduate / MD-PhD / Clinical Investigator Program (CIP) Trainee / MD+ students, fellows, residents, or postdoctoral scholars. Individuals must not be employed full-time by an academic institution or organization and must be working toward a qualification as a physician or other health professional.
Please Note: This category does not apply once the individual has completed their professional qualification. Proof of status may be required.
Community Member
This category applies to members of the public with a particular interest in the Congress who are not attending in a professional or institutional capacity. It includes individuals with lived experience, such as local residents or advocates, who engage with or represent communities affected by health education, research, or care, whether or not they are currently involved in healthcare-related improvement activities.
Patient Partners
This category applies to individuals with extensive lived experience in the healthcare system who are actively engaged in healthcare improvement and understand their role in this capacity. It includes those who contribute to health education, research, or policy by drawing on their experiences as patients, caregivers, or patient advocates. This category acknowledges the vital role of meaningful patient engagement in shaping and improving the health system.
One Day Congress Registrant
This category applies to individuals who plan to attend the Congress for one day only.
Please Note: One day registrants are not eligible to receive a CME certificate.
ICAM Registration Cancellation
Requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing to icam@afmc.ca by February 28, 2026, to be reimbursed 75% of the registration fee. No refunds are issued after March 1, 2026. Please note that there is a processing time for all written cancellation and reimbursement requests.

- No Distribution of Materials: Attendees are prohibited from distributing, sharing, or posting any materials, including presentations, slides, videos, or any other content presented at the conference, unless explicitly authorized by the speakers or organizers.
- Copyright Protection: All content shared during the conference is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution of materials may result in legal action.
- Consequences: Any attendee found in violation of this policy may be removed from the event and prohibited from future participation. Legal action may also be pursued if warranted.
