About Dr. Renée Stalmeijer

Renée E. Stalmeijer, MSc, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the School of Health Professions Education (SHE) and Department of Educational Development and Research at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), Maastricht University, the Netherlands.

Trained as an educational scientist, her program of research focuses on optimizing workplace learning by investigating the intra- and interprofessional teaching and learning dynamic in the clinical workplace. Additionally, her research interests include qualitative research methodology, and educational quality assurance.

She is the head of task force program evaluation at FHML and teaches research methodology within SHE in the Master of Health Professions Education, PhD Proposal Writing course, and during the short course Critical Choices in Qualitative Research Methodology.
