Medical Oncology Fellow

Kevin Wang is a Medical Oncology Fellow at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He completed combined MD/PhD training at the University of Toronto with his doctoral thesis focused on developing genomic tools to identify actionable mutations in childhood brain tumours. He then completed residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto.
Kevin’s current research focus is aimed at identifying oncology treatment biomarkers and integrating genomics as part of clinical trials. Kevin’s research has been supported by the Canada Vanier Graduate Scholarship and the Canadian Association of Medical Oncology Fellowship. He is the former president of CITAC/ACCFC. Kevin attended the Canadian Student Health Research Forum and was nominated to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate meeting in 2018 as one of the top doctoral students in Canada.
