Research trainees will have a unique opportunity to engage with previous Gairdner Laureates and research leaders in an interactive workshop on mentorships. Students will engage in empowering conversations including career and scientific advice, mentorship as well as have an opportunity to hear in the mentors own personal and professional journey. Questions and topics may include the advantages and caveats of working in an academic, government, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, and/or industry environments.
