Accreditation

This activity constitutes a recognized professional development activity (category A) as defined by the Collège des médecins du Québec for which Pédagogia of the Laval University Faculty of Medicine recognizes a maximum of 21 hours in Category A.

This activity constitutes an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program (MCP) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; it has been approved by Pédagogia of the Laval University Faculty of Medicine for a maximum of 21 hours in section 1.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning Program meets the certification criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada. It has received certification from Pédagogia of the Laval University Faculty of Medicine and entitles you to up to 21 Mainpro+ credits in Group Learning.

For any other professional, this activity gives a certificate of 2.1 UEC or 21 hours of participation. Participants must claim from their respective professionnal order a number of hours consistent with the duration of their participation.

  • Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.   • Live educational activities recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) are deemed by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) eligible for ECMEC®.
  • Through an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners, healthcare practitioners participating in the QCHP CME/CPD program may record MOC Section 1 credits as QCHP Category 1
